Last night he went to the recycle center and his boots got really muddy so he took them off on the front porch. He put them on this morning and was on his way to work. Well, 2 and a half hours later his boot felt weird. So, he removed his boot and this is what he found!
A Baby Tarantula!!! Can you believe it? Now, it's sitting on his desk in a cup. He told me it's his new pet! I will NEVER leave my shoes on the porch again!

of course he has a new pet- tell him he needs to take it to the nature reserve in austin and let the wild animals have a new friend!
do you remember Ms. Maupin, our kindergarten teacher, and how her husband was bitten by a brown recluse that spent the night in his boot he left on the porch? and how he almost had to have his foot amputated?! THAT'S why i'll never do it.
