It's happening!

I have been fully aware of the fact that I am having a baby sometime around October 25th. I haven't been nervous and when I thought about the delivery process it didn't freak me out at all. Well, I officially started to freak out yesterday. I'm not sure exactly what happened. I was in Austin on Monday talking to people at work and telling them how I feel great and I'm not really nervous at all. I also was just telling my sister on Saturday how the delivery process does not freak me out at all.

I HAVE DECIDED I WAS IN DENIAL THIS ENTIRE TIME!!!

I became uncomfortable yesterday and really started to feel pregnant. Then, it hit me...I will be birthing this baby. It really hit home when I saw a friend of a friend's blog. Her little girl was due one month before Chase. Now she has a countdown on her blog. Only 14 days until her c-section. Holy Crap! If I am doing the math correctly (which I think I am) that means I have one month and 14 days left!!! I am really going to have this baby! So many thoughts came rushing through my head. Will it be a c-section? Will Chase come early like his BFF/future wife, Jade? Will he weigh as much as Justin (10lbs,13oz)? What will he wear home from the hospital? What will Justin and I wear home from the hospital? You know we have got to coordinate!

I know it will all work out and that once I see Chase's little face everything else will pale in comparison.

On a totally different note, I have my countdown in my head until I move. It could be as early as the weekend of the 13th or as late as the 27th. We hired my replacement yesterday. She comes in at 3pm today to begin training. I am so excited!!!

Also, in case you were wondering, I did have a really cute outfit picked out to go home in but I am wearing it to both my showers. Justin (aka my fashion expert) explained to me last night that I would be wearing the same outfit for 3 different occasions and that when Chase looks back on pictures on day he will think his mom only had 1 outfit to wear during the entire pregnancy. Ahhh, what is a girl to do?

Holy crap - here's to praying that Chase isn't nearly 11 pounds! That's just nuts.

Take a deep breath - it will all work out just fine :) And for the record, I seriously doubt Chase will ever care what you wore during your pregnancy. Seriously :) If you've got your outfit picked out, then wear it, girlfriend!

I say wear a sweatsuit home! But you know me, that's all I like to wear. Now I don't have to be so nervous for you!

I wore one of my pregnancy dresses home from the hospital that I also wore to one of my baby showers! It does not really matter as long as you are comfy.
Everything will be just fine.

I am in favor of the sweatsuit to wear home. You want to be as comfortable as possible. On another note, I can't believe that this is such a big concern for you. I don't even think I planned what I was wearing home, but I couldn't even imagine what my baby was wearing home as I did not know what I was having. STOP WORRYING so much, everything will work out. Quit planning so much and just relax and enjoy these next few weeks being pregnant because it is nothing in comparison to when you get home. Lots of hugs and kisses, Aunt Judy

First of all, thanks for finally blogging. I've been checking daily.

Second of all, love all the questions - probably more will come - because you are just Amanda. And you make it fun - so don't stress.

Third of all, congrats on your replacement. We look forward to having you guys close again.

And what's with 'outfits' for the MOMS on the way home from the hospital??? You are tired, fat, have super larger boobs than you ever imagined, and extra padding on your "Gina" from the delivery - girl, this is the time for comfort. No outfit. Brush your hair and wear mascara - you will look beautiful as always.

PS - I think Justin looks like Memphis on Big Brother.

When i had ana - my mom and I switched outfits because I didn't want to wear something Maternity home! Isn't that hilarious? It was the cutest dress I had, but i didn't think about the fact that since i was breast feeding a dress wasn't going to be my best friend.
With Colin, It was probably some comfy clothes, but the first place we went was Macaroni Grill because I wanted some good food! Were officially crazy though! SO -
Love and miss you! Im so stoked that I get to see you in November. Chase, Jade, - Oh its going to kill me to leave Austin!
